Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email, phone number, password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text), and role (customer, pandit, or admin).
Booking information: service selected, date/time, delivery mode, and — for offline poojas — the service address.
Pandit-specific information: KYC documents, bank account or UPI details, languages spoken, pooja expertise, and working cities, provided voluntarily during pandit onboarding for the purpose of verification and payouts.
Payment information: we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves — payments are processed directly by our third-party payment gateway.
Communications: messages you send through our contact form or support channels.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and bookings
- To process payments and pandit payouts
- To verify pandit identity and eligibility (KYC)
- To send booking-related notifications (email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app)
- To respond to support requests submitted via our contact form
- To maintain platform security and prevent fraud
3. Sharing of Information
We share the minimum information necessary between customers and the pandit assigned to a booking (e.g., name, phone number, and — for offline bookings — the service address) so the pooja can be coordinated. We share payment details with our payment gateway solely to process transactions. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and booking data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account via our Contact page, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Pandits may update their profile information (KYC, bank/UPI, expertise) directly from their dashboard.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and role-based access control — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
8. Contact
For privacy-related questions or requests, reach us via our Contact page.
