Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between an online and offline pooja?+

An online pooja is performed live by a pandit over Zoom, with you (and your family) joining from wherever you are. An offline pooja means a pandit travels to your specified address to perform the ritual in person.

How do I know a pandit is genuine?+

Every pandit on Eshwara goes through a KYC verification step and lists their expertise, languages, and working cities before they can accept bookings.

How is pricing determined?+

Each pooja has a listed base price shown before you book — that's what you pay. There are no hidden charges added at checkout.

When is my booking confirmed?+

A booking is confirmed once payment is completed. You'll then see it move to "pending assignment" while we match you with a pandit.

How do I know when my pooja is actually done?+

After the pandit marks the service complete, you'll be asked to confirm it yourself and leave a rating. The booking isn't marked "completed" — and the pandit isn't paid — until you confirm.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?+

Yes — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the exact rules depending on your booking's current status.

Do you offer astrology consultations?+

No. Eshwara offers online and offline pooja bookings, plus general informational resources (festival calendar, auspicious-day guidance). We don't provide astrology, catering, or event-planning services.

How do I become a pandit on Eshwara?+

Register with the "Pandit" account type, then complete your profile — KYC, bank/UPI details, languages, expertise, and working cities — from your pandit dashboard.

How and when do pandits get paid?+

Payouts are calculated automatically after a booking is confirmed complete, based on the platform commission and applicable taxes. Pandits can set a payout schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, instant, or threshold-based) from their dashboard.
